1. Legal Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Obstetric Tools mobile application, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with the entirety of this agreement, you are not authorized to use the application and must uninstall it immediately.

2. Nature of the Application and Medical Disclaimer

Obstetric Tools has been developed exclusively as a reference, calculation, and educational support tool aimed at obstetricians, midwives, and other duly qualified healthcare professionals. Under no circumstances does this application constitute a medical device, nor does it provide diagnoses, nor does it replace professional clinical judgment. The algorithms, formulas (such as Hadlock or Naegele), and scales (such as Bishop, Apgar, etc.) provided are based on general medical literature but may not be applicable to all patients. The user assumes EXCLUSIVE responsibility for verifying the results obtained through the application with official charts, their hospital's protocols, and the patient's clinical history before making any therapeutic or clinical management decisions.

3. License to Use and Restrictions

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the application on your personal device. It is strictly prohibited to: - Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the application's source code. - Use the application for illicit commercial purposes or resell access to it. - Extract data or use the application's algorithms to integrate them into third-party software without our express written authorization.

4. Intellectual Property

All content in Obstetric Tools, including but not limited to designs, text, graphics, interfaces, logos, source code, and the selection and arrangement thereof, is the exclusive property of the application's developers and is protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the application is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. We offer no express or implied warranties regarding the absolute accuracy of the calculations in every clinical scenario. The developers, affiliates, and representatives of Obstetric Tools shall not be liable under any circumstances for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages (including, among others, claims for medical malpractice, personal injury, loss of profits, or loss of data) arising from the use or inability to use this application.

6. Modifications to the Application and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the application, including free or premium features, at any time and without prior notice. Likewise, these Terms may be updated periodically. It is the user's responsibility to review this section regularly.

7. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or related to the use of the application shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the developers' domicile.
